Animal Gang - Panjang the Pangolin (research)

Now, here's some concept arts for animated shorts projects in the context of my animation curriculum ! I decided, for one of these, to exploit my gang of animals ! But I also proposed other character designs for the same character ! Here, we have concept arts for the formerly lonesome but still flegmatic pangolin of the group, who is one of the characters who originated from the mind of one of my best friends.

He was born in Malaysia, but he quickly became another victim of animal trafficking, but luckily for him he wasn't just killed for his scales. Instead, he was sold as an exotic pet to a middle-aged texan tourist who had traveled the world for a long time. This was the last journey of the american before returning to his home state. And I don't have enough space to write the rest of the backstory...
