Here's my take on a Yaka (or Yakka, or Yakseya...) a category of disease-bringing demons from Sinhalese (Sri Lankan) folklore ! Since their king forbid them to kill humans, these demons seek satisfaction by bringing down various diseases upon mankind. Each Yaka corresponds to a peculiar illness, and when someone is affected, he/she must be cured by a shaman. The latter brings offerings to the demon, and disguises as the Yaka to perform a ritual dance, in order to appease the monster and make it leave. And if it isn't enough, the witch doctor can call upon the king of yaka, known for being cruel towards his own subjects.
Even though I like the result, the right leg's posing still annoys me, and I couldn't find a way to make it look better...
