Animal Gang - Chiro the Bat (research)

Now, here's some concept arts for animated shorts projects in the context of my animation curriculum ! I decided, for one of these, to exploit my gang of animals. But I also proposed other character designs for the same character ! Here, we have concept arts for the energic and nervous little bat of the group, whom I formerly called Nosferatu... But I realized it was too long, and not very original, so I went for Chiro (pronounced Keero), as in chiroptera, the order of the bats.

Chiro is the little dynamo of the group, although he is quite nervous, and a little unstable sometimes... If the group encounters a threat, he might rush on it all claws out, or quickly hide behind his stronger friends with terror, without real logic... We could say he is the least intelligent member of the gang, and he has difficulty expressing himself correctly. Most of his vocabulary is made up of borborygisms, but his friends still understand him.
