Animal Gang - Doze the Sloth (research)

Now, here's some concept arts for animated shorts projects in the context of my animation curriculum ! I decided, for one of these, to exploit my gang of animals. But I also proposed other character designs for the same character ! Here, we have concept arts for the carefree and lazy sloth of the group, who is one of the characters who originated from the mind of one of my best friends. We used to call him Dodo (french slang word for "sleep"), but I decided to translate his name, which became Doze ! But I thaught he could also be named Simon, Simon the sloth.

He met Conda the anaconda and Basil the basilisk in the Amazon, before going to the zoo where they met the other animals of the group. To those who are familiar with "The Big Lebowski", his character is close to "The Dude" : he's incredibly lazy and carefree, hates conflicts, is a proud pacifist, always there to calm tensions between members of the group, and he experiences the events more than he triggers them...
