Zhu Yin

Here's my version of Zhu Yin (or Zhulong, or Shokuin, or Shokuryuu for the Japanese), a gigantic Chinese solar dragon deity with an influence on seasons. He coils around Mount Zhong (Mount Sho for the Japanese), which is told to be the northern gate to Heaven, and located near the Arctic Ocean. Zhu Yin could be translated as "Enlightener of Yin/darkness", and Zhulong as "Illuminating/torch dragon".
By closing his eyes, he makes night fall upon the Earth, and by opening them, he makes the day rise. Zhu Yin influences seasons by simply inhaling and exhaling : when he does the first, summer comes, and when he does the latter, it is winter. He doesn't need to eat, drink, sleep or even breathe.
