The Planets - Neptune - Neptung character concepts

I really fell in love with Gustav Holst's symphonic poem "The Planets" a few years ago. I thought that this music deserved to be turned into a Fantasia-like animated movie, with each movement presenting a different alien world with its own characters, associated to the music, the actual planet (to some extent), and the mythological/astrological signification of the celestial bodies.

Some concepts materialized in my mind, while listening, and I put it on paper, to perhaps make a study project out of these. Now, here's the only concept art sheet I did for the protagonist of the segment called "Neptune, the Mystic" ! He would be a monk/mystic, some sort of space buddha/transcendental traveler. My favorite design is the one on the left !
