Composition in color zones

This composition was a visual design exercise. We had to do a composition, but in color zones, without lines. I decided to draw a swampy landscape from Marekajallas, a planet I invented, with characters I invented : in the foreground, the Shaman Mygarantulas, a Rak'nite (a species of spider people) warlock, and in the background, the Knitagoon, a legendary intelligent creature, revered as a deity by the natives.

I did two different versions, to experiment water effects. My teacher preferred the first one, without the reflections.
