Apophis

Here is my vision of Apophis (or Apep, or Aapef, meaning "giant snake"), the great serpent of chaos from Egyptian mythology ! As the local incarnation of evil, he is known for attacking Ra (the sun god) every night, to break the cycle, destroy the divine creation, and plunge the world back into the darkness of nothingness where the Serpent dwelled before the arrival of the gods... And yet, he is always defeated, thanks to the help of Seth, Isis, and Bastet.
